			Maine Family Fishing Adventure Fishing is a great way of bringing the whole family together for a fun and exiting way to enjoy the great outdoors. Our guided fishing trips will teach you what you need to know to get you started, from setting up your tackle, to water safety, to getting a fish on the hook. For those who already know how to fish, we will take you to the areas that will increase your changes of getting fish on the line. 			Fly Fishing Instruction Fly fishing is probably the most rewarding and captivating way to enter into the sport of fishing. In our half day course you will learn the basics of setting up a fly fishing outfit, learn fly selection, basic entomology, and the basics of fly casting. In the full day version, we build on the basics by practicing your cast and fish a local pond or river. Lunch, gear are provided on full day trips. Your guide will also familiarize with local fishing areas to try your hand on local trout, Landlocked Salmon, and Bass. Both courses are led by an experienced Maine Guide. This is the perfect course for the entry level aspiring fly fisherman.

			Big Lake Fishing There’s some excellent fishing on Moosehead Lake and our boat “Angler Management” is fully equipped with everything you need to fish Moosehead’s big waters. Fish for Landlocked Salmon, Brook Trout, and Lake Trout aboard a 23ft enclosed cabin fishing boat fully outfitted with all fishing gear, downriggers, modern GPS and fish finder electronics equipped . No matter how deep the cove or how distant from shore, our experienced fishing guides will help you find and land your fish. All gear, fuel, guide, soft drinks and lunch or snacks are included. Fishing licenses and guide’s gratuity are extra. Half day and full day trips age available daily from May through September.

			Maine Bass Fishing For those of you who love the excitement, the fight, and the fast action of bass fishing, you are in luck! Some of the finest Bass fishing in Maine is located right here in the Moosehead Lake region. Guided trips are offered by canoes, kayaks or motorboats and are available 7 days a week. Many of our customers come back year after year to do this trip. Many large bass are taken from 3 to 6 lbs! Overnight camping is available and can be completely outfitted by Northwoods Outfitters. We will customize this trip to fit into your vacation.

			Remote Pond Fishing The Moosehead Lake region is literally speckled with beautiful remote trout ponds and streams and many of these ponds still harbor rare native strains of wild Brook Trout! Yes these little beauties are surely the prize of the North Maine woods, spectacular in color and respectable fighters. To protect this special Maine fishery, we have a strict catch and release policy on all wild trout ponds.
